Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) launched Bharatgas Lite ZIP – a premium Free Trade LPG (FTL) with instant connection and express delivery – in Mangaluru on July 31. The Lite ZIP comes with a 10kg fibre composite LPG cylinder.

Bharatgas Lite ZIP is BPCL’s next generation of customer-centric LPG solutions, combining advantages of the lightweight composite Bharatgas Lite cylinder with a digitally enabled premium service model focused on speed, convenience and superior customer experience.

Under Lite ZIP, customers can obtain a new LPG connection quickly through a simplified onboarding process while the cylinders are delivered within four hours of booking. The cylinders have lightweight design for easy handling, corrosion-free composite body, vsible LPG level through the transparent cylinder body, among other things.

Besides Mangaluru, BPCL launched the product in 29 other cities on July 31 while it plans to cover 70 more cities in 24 States by August 15. Subsequently, Lite ZIP will be rolled out across all other major cities in the country.

The rollout at Mangaluru was jointly organised by Anupama Gas Distributors and Kamadhenu Gas Agency at the former’s premises. Marking the inauguration, the first batch of 10kg composite cylinders was handed over to 15 customers.

BPCL Territory Manager (LPG) Sandeep Kumar Raina emphasised the Corporation’s commitment to delivering customer-centric, technology-enabled solutions that enhance everyday life. Kamadhenu Agency proprietor Dinesh Kumar Shetty, Anupama Distributors proprietors Amrutha and Suresh Kumar, were among those present at the event.

As on July 31, the cost of the 10 kg cylinder was ₹4,812.
