MANILA, Philippines — Another UP student has been identified among those killed in a military encounter in Negros Occidental, as the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) called for a transparent investigation of the incident and its circumstances. In a statement on Saturday, UPOU said that one of the fatalities was Maureen Keil Santuyo, an Associate of Arts student. It was earlier reported that UP Diliman student Alyssa Alano and community journalist RJ Ledesma were among those killed in a recent military encounter in Negros Occidental.
