Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has fallen sick and has been advised to rest by a doctor, who examined him at his residence in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Saturday (August 1, 2026).

Mr. Dipke’s blood pressure is slightly low and he has been suffering from vomiting and diarrhea, the doctor said.

Mr. Dipke, who was diagnosed with typhoid during the protests in Jantar Mantar seeking the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as Union Education Minister, had said he had been unwell for the past few days and was currently undergoing treatment.

The youth leader was supposed to meet a group of individuals, including media persons, near his residence on Saturday (August 1) morning, but he felt restless and vomited, following which he retired to his house. After that, doctors were called to examine him, said his father Bhagwan Dipke.

"Abhijeet Dipke's blood pressure is slightly low at 100/60 level. He has been feeling uneasy and nauseated since morning because of stress and anxiety. He vomited a couple of times and has been suffering from loose motions," Vishal Lahane, the doctor who examined Mr. Bhagwan Dipke, told presspersons. He has been given intravenous (IV) fluids and has been advised to take rest for the day, the doctor said.

If his health condition does not improve, we will go for a blood test, and further line of treatment will be decided based on the report, he added.
