SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Bureau of Customs’ (BOC) Port of Subic on Monday (Aug. 3) announced it has pulled out four more overstaying containers carrying agricultural and processed products for condemnation and disposal, bringing the total number of condemned containers to 25 out of the 118 overstaying containers identified for urgent disposition. The latest pullout forms part of the agency’s continuing decongestion and sanitation efforts following concerns over foul odors and a recent leachate pollution incident in the Subic Bay Freeport.
