Content creator, Jarvis has addressed the controversy surrounding a viral moment from her traditional wedding to fellow content creator Peller, clarifying that she never referred to her husband as “womb shifter” as widely reported on social media.

Jarvis made the clarification during a livestream shared on her social media page after clips from the wedding went viral.

According to her, what she actually said was “tomb shifter,” explaining that it is a cultural expression used in her community to describe husbands.

“For those of you that came to my wedding and changed my words, I never said ‘womb shifter.’ I said ‘tomb shifter.’ In the Bible, didn’t you read where the tomb was shifted? I called my husband a ‘tomb shifter.’ That’s what we call our husbands in my village,” she said.

The clarification comes after the wedding clip sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users expressing confusion over the phrase they believed they heard during the ceremony.

Jarvis maintained that her words had been misunderstood and altered after the video circulated across different social media platforms.
