Two bungling thieves were caught on CCTV faking a Liverpool accent and squabbling with each other in an armed raid – before apologising to the shopkeeper.
Stephen Bradley, 56, and David Oakley, 48, were both jailed after they robbed a local convenience store with a fake gun and pretended to be from Liverpool, despite living five minutes from the shop.
The two burst into Maddy's Store in New Mills, Derbyshire – one with what appeared to be a Manchester United scarf, Liverpool's arch rivals, wrapped around his head.
The pair demanded cash from the till before making off with £4,000 worth of cigarettes, £200 in cash and nine bottles of Jack Daniel's whiskey.
But in a scene reminiscent of Guy Ritchie film Snatch, the two dozy robbers started bickering over who would carry the loot in a fake Liverpool accent.
One ordered the other to put the stolen cash in his pocket, only to be met with a flat refusal.
One can be seen struggling to carry the cash they stole because of the gloves they were wearing.
They proclaimed that they needed to 'hurry up so we can get on the motorway to Liverpool'.

One of the men referred to the other as 'Charles' in an attempt to hide their identity.
Oakley even paused to apologise to the shopkeeper before fleeing.
He told her: 'Sorry love, sorry love, we really are.
'We'll never come again, we'll never hurt you. We're very sorry.'
Despite their extensive efforts to conceal their identity, the two men were tracked down and arrested within days at an address just minutes from the shop they raided.
Bradley and Oakley were captured on CCTV footage and identified as the suspects by witnesses.
Armed police arrived at the pair’s door and arrested them.
Inside the house, officers found a large amount of tobacco, nine bottles of Jack Daniel’s and a silver pellet gun.

The robbers were heard in a different accent when they were arrested by police in the days following their robbery.
Bradley admitted robbery and possession of an imitation firearm, while Oakley pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of a knife.
Both men were jailed for four years at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.
