Motionless in White has been releasing albums for more than a decade and a half, but 2026 has turned out to be something of a breakout year for the group. Longtime fans may disagree, but according to the Billboard charts, it has only been during the past few months that a huge number of Americans have embraced the band’s signature metalcore sound.

This week, Motionless in White earns another champion on one Billboard tally and even manages to trade one winner for another. The group replaces itself at No. 1 while controlling nearly half of the entire ranking as its latest album Decades arrives.

Motionless in White Replaces Itself at No. 1

“Fight Like Hell” debuts at No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. Motionless in White replaces itself atop the tally, which ranks the most-consumed hard rock cuts – which also includes subgenres like metal – in the nation.

Last frame, “R.I.P.,” the band’s collaboration with singer-songwriter Skylar Grey, ruled once more. That track now slips to second place, giving the group control over the two highest rungs.

Motionless in White Has Charted Four No. 1 Hits

Motionless in White has now collected four No. 1 hits on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, and all of them have reached the top spot in 2026. The group first conquered the ranking in February with “Afraid of the Dark.” About three months later, “Playing God,” which features Slipknot and Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor, launched at No. 1 in early July.

“R.I.P.” rose to the top just one week after debuting. Now, one month later, “Fight Like Hell” rounds out the quartet of champions.

Motionless in White’s “R.I.P.” Set a New Record for the Band

“R.I.P.” steps aside after becoming Motionless in White’s longest-running No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The collaboration spent three weeks in charge.

That run beats the two frames that “Afraid of the Dark” managed in the peak position. “Playing God” and “Fight Like Hell” have so far spent one turn apiece running the show.

Motionless in White Claims Seven Top 10 Hits

Motionless in White has scored 24 hits on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, and half of them have climbed into the top 10. More than half of those wins that have broken into the highest tier appear in the region this week, which may be the biggest yet for the band.

The group earns three new top 10 smashes this frame. “Decades,” “Sunglasses at Night” and “log_in//crash_out” debut at Nos. 8, 9 and 10, respectively. Those arrivals join the band’s two recent leaders, “Fight Like Hell” and “R.I.P.” Former champions “Afraid of the Dark” and “Playing God” are also comfortable inside the top five at the moment, sitting pretty at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

Motionless in White Controls Nearly Half the Chart

Motionless in White fills 12 spaces on this week’s 25-position Hot Hard Rock Songs chart – just under half of the entire roster, and exactly half of all the tunes the group has ever sent to the tally.

Five cuts launch beneath the top 10, including “Blood Rave” with Anthony Martinez, “All That I’ve Ever Known,” “Love At First Bite,” “Count Back From Zero” and “Blood Pact,” which enter the hard rock-only roster at Nos. 1, 13, 15, 16 and 19, respectively.
