According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in an operational update on Facebook as of 16:00.

“Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 51 times,” the post said.

The General Staff also reported ongoing artillery shelling of border areas. In the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Sopych, Kucherivka, Ryzhivka, Bezsalivka, Potapivka, Neskuchne, Tovstodubove, Rohizne, Hutko-Ozhynka, and Hirky came under fire. In the Chernihiv region, the village of Zaliznyi Mist was shelled.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, one combat engagement took place, while Russian forces carried out 33 artillery strikes on populated areas and Ukrainian positions.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Russian troops attempted seven assaults near Starytsia and toward Volokhivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces launched one attack toward Shyikivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Drobysheve and Stavky.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight attacks near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. One battle is continuing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one Russian attack toward Yurkivka.

The Kostiantynivka direction remains the hottest sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Novopavlivka. Five engagements are still underway.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops launched eight attacks in an attempt to force Ukrainian troops from their positions near Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward Shevchenko, Matiasheve, Vasylivka, Myrne, and Novopidhorodne.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Oleksandrivka direction.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four Russian attacks toward Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, and Huliaipilske.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attempts by Russian forces to advance near Plavni and toward Novoyakovlivka.

In the Prydniprovske direction, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.

According to the General Staff, no significant changes have been recorded on other fronts, and no additional Russian attempts to advance have been observed.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces had concentrated personnel and increased pressure on the Pokrovsk direction, particularly toward Rodynske and Bilytske, although no Russian advances have been confirmed so far.
