SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — Six persons were rescued after a landslide triggered by heavy rains and thunderstorms blocked a road in Salcedo town, local disaster officials reported Sunday. The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Salcedo said it received a report that several individuals were stranded along the Balidbid–Bulala-Leguey Road after a landslide rendered the route impassable.
