Sunday, September 13 is understood to be the date favoured by Auckland Transport to open the $5.4 billion City Rail Link, although nothing has yet been announced officially and Transport Minister Chris Bishop has issued a “no comment”.

Sources said the opening date could be announced today or tomorrow.

They
