Google is continuing the preview cycle today with Android 17 QPR2 Beta 2, which should see a stable launch in December 2026.

Android DEV

Instead of Android 17’s “CinnamonBun” codename this release is now referred to as “DEV.”

New Settings icon

The new Settings icon is now live, though some users saw it during the QPR1 Beta if they did a fresh install.

Bug fixes

Google did not provide a list of bug fixes for Beta 2.

Pixel 6 and 6 Pro not supported

From Beta 1:

Pixel 6 and 6Pro users will not be getting this OTAsince the device will reach End of Life and Android 17 QPR1 beta series will be the last for these devices.
