Abdullahi Adamu has resigned from his post as the head coach of Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Jigawa Golden Stars FC.

Adamu announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the club’s management.

He expressed gratitude to the club’s chairman, management, players and supporters for their encouragement during his tenure.

Adamu is expected to take up a new role at another club.

He said the new offer was irresistible and required a new chapter in his career.

Jigawa Golden Stars are expected to announce a new replacement for Adamu before the start of the 2026-27 season.
