According to Ukrinform, this information is contained in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on August 4.

The enemy launched two missile strikes, using three missiles, and carried out 84 airstrikes, dropping 258 guided bombs.

In addition, the Russians deployed 10,712 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,251 shelling attacks.

The Defense Forces’ missile forces and artillery struck three UAV command posts, 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, and another key target of the Russian invaders.

Two combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors. The Russian Federation’s army carried out one airstrike, dropping one aerial bomb, and conducted 69 shelling attacks.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked 13 times in the Starytsia area and toward Izbytske, Lyman, Volokhivka, and Palamarivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, two Russian attacks took place in the area of Petropavlivka and toward Shyikivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted to breach the defenses nine times, attacking in the area of Zarichne and toward Drobysheve, Stavky, and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Russian army launched 22 assaults in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, and toward Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out two attacks in the area of Fedorivka Druha and toward Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 35 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopilia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 22 assaults by the Russian Federation’s army in the areas of Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and toward Novy Shakhovyi, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, Vasylivka, Myrne, and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out two attacks toward Kalynivske.

In the Huliaipole sector, the invaders carried out 13 attacks toward Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, Huliaipole, Tsvitkove, Charivne, and in the Zaliznychne area.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian attempts to advance in the Plavniv area and toward Novoyakovlivka.

In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the Russian Federation forming offensive groups were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, to August 4, 2026—amount to approximately 1,451,750 personnel.
