CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The Bases Conversion and Development Authority has reported that it is nearing completion of two preliminary works needed for the eventual reconstruction this month of the Pasig-Potrero Bridge along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) in the Pampanga town of Porac. The diversion channel upstream and downstream of the Pasig-Potrero River, and its groundsill (support timber beam) downstream are almost finished, according to Randy Viacrusis, BCDA vice president for strategic partnership projects.
