No clues on missing Poro Point exec
MANILA, Philippines — Authorities are still clueless on the disappearance of Nicky Oller, chairman of the board of directors of Poro Point Management Corp.
PPMC is a subsidiary of the state-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority, which manages former military bases and properties.
Oller, 59, has been missing since July 31.
La Union police have formed a special investigation task group to locate Oller.
Joining the probe are the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the National Bureau of Investigation.
Oller disappeared after leaving his residence in Barangay Poblacion for his usual early morning walk at around 5:30 a.m.
A known critic of top officials in his hometown and the second district of La Union, Oller served as Tubao’s municipal councilor from 2001 to 2010 and from 2013 to 2019. — Emmanuel Tupas
