President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to his Special Assistant on Social Media, Segun Dada, over the death of his 91-year-old father, Chief Idowu Folorunsho Dada.
Chief Dada, a former Sales Manager at NEXAN Kablemetal Nigeria PLC, was described by the President as a man of integrity, discipline and compassion whose contributions earned him the respect of those around him.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the deceased as a loving father and mentor who instilled sound moral values in his children, including Segun.
The President also commended Chief Dada’s commitment to the Church and his exemplary family values.
Tinubu particularly consoled Segun and the entire Dada family, urging them to draw comfort from the legacy of service and good name left behind by the deceased.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the children of Pa Dada and the extended family members over the transition of their patriarch.
“I especially console Segun at this difficult time for the family. The family should find comfort in the legacy of service and good name left behind by Chief Dada,” the President stated.
Tinubu prayed that Almighty God would grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort his family during the period of mourning.
