Ariana Grande's brother Frankie Grande has taken to Instagram amid news that his superstar sibling will be stepping out of the public eye.

On Monday, the 43-year-old actor showed off his chiseled torso in a series of sultry selfies, including one that showed him posing completely naked.

It comes in the wake of heightened scrutiny over 33-year-old Ariana's seemingly withering frame, which has sparked health fears among her fans. The songstress released a new music video for her song Petal last week, raising alarm bells as she appeared onscreen with her sternum in plain sight.

Ironically, the song addresses the pressures of the limelight with lyrics like, 'Tеll me who's to blame, is it the people or myself? / But this time feels so very different / This is not a cry for help.'

On Sunday, two days after Ariana's album and video release, a representative announced through People magazine: 'Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.

'She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.'

Frankie, meanwhile, was feeling himself with his series of NSFW images, sharing several more shirtless snaps as well as a racy photo taken on a gym benchpress.

It comes amid news Ariana will no longer be joining her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey in the London musical Sunday In The Park with George next year.

Ariana insisted her hiatus from the spotlight was planned 'a long time ago,' telling fans at her show on Monday night that 'boundaries need to be set.'

One day after it was announced she will take a 'break' after her Eternal Sunshine tour concludes in September amid 'ongoing scrutiny,' the star broke her silence during her concert in Chicago.

She clarified to fans that the upcoming pause in public appearances had been 'quietly' orchestrated 'a long time ago' before insisting that the decision was not made because 'negativity was ruining things for me.'

The former child star emphasized that 'multiple things can be true at the same time,' stating, 'Yes, boundaries, they need to be set. Human beings can need a break sometimes.'

She added that her tour, which she kicked off in North America in June and which will conclude with ten London dates in September, 'will continue to be the greatest experience of my professional and creative life.'

Notably, in November 2025, Ariana appeared on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast and shared that this tour would be her last for the foreseeable future.

She explained that her pop career had 'taken over' her life and she planned to prioritize other passions.

The star insisted she would 'give it her all' during the tour, which she described as 'one last hurrah' before she steps back from international performing.

The actress said: 'I'm very excited to do this small tour. But I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time.

'I’m going to give it my all, and it’s going to be beautiful, and I’m so grateful. I think that’s why I’m doing it. Because I’m like, one last hurrah. For now.'

She told Poehler last year: 'I just am feeling a lot more connected to myself and my art since I started doing different things.

'I spent so much time only doing pop music, but I grew up as a girl who loved musical theatre and comedy, so I think the thing that will be best for my soul and for my art is chasing things that feel very right in the moment, even if it’s spontaneous and something different.'

Frankie and Ariana's mom Joan Grande, 69, appeared in the Titanique star's Instagram post on Monday, which he captioned, 'July was hot.'

While fans and critics expressed their fears for Ariana's wellbeing after viewing the Petal music video, the mom of two had nothing but kind words for her daughter.

She gave her approval, writing in the comments of the hitmaker's BTS Instagram post, 'You are magnificent… and this video is incredible!! I love it and I love you more!!!'

Ariana previously attempted to shut down chatter about her physical appearance in an April 2023 TikTok clip.

At the time, she asked fans to be 'gentler and less comfortable' about commenting on people's bodies.

The former Nickelodeon star said fans were 'comparing my current body' to 'the unhealthiest version of my body' after she appeared to have lost weight.

She noted, 'I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider my healthy, but that in fact wasn't my healthy.

'I know I shouldn't have to explain that, but I do feel like maybe having an openness and some sort of vulnerability here will [mean] something good might come from it. I don't know but that's the first thing. Healthy can look different.'

She added: 'The second thing is, you never know what someone is going through. Even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working on it with.

'You never know. So be gentle with each other and with yourselves.'
