One person was killed and two others were injured in a Russian strike on a residential area of Odesa.

Head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"It has been confirmed that one person was killed as a result of the enemy attack on Odesa," the statement said.

The attack also injured two civilians – an 82-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man. Both are receiving the necessary medical treatment.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces struck a residential area of Odesa during the daytime on July 22.
