KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The city government of General Santos (GenSan) and several towns in South Cotabato suspended classes following the magnitude 6.4 earthquake that shook parts of Mindanao shortly past Wednesday noon. GenSan Mayor Lorelie G. Pacquiao issued Executive Order No. 47, Series of 2026, suspending all classes in public and private schools, as well as work in government and private offices, as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety following the earthquake.
