The figures were released by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, Ukrinform reports.
In July 2026, Ukraine's Defense Forces continued to inflict losses on Russian troops on land, at sea, and in the air, with Russian offensive operations resulting in heavy casualties.
According to the ministry, Ukraine's military uses the DELTA combat system to monitor the battlefield in real time.
"During the second month of summer, 30,957 Russian troops were killed or seriously wounded on the battlefield. The overwhelming majority of these casualties occurred in the Donetsk region. Every one of these strikes has been verified in the DELTA system," the ministry said.
The system also recorded 259 Russian tanks destroyed or damaged in July – twice as many as in June.
The number of successful strikes against targets located more than 50 kilometers behind the front line increased by 74% compared with the previous month.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian medium-range strike drones now control not only Russia's ground logistics routes but also maritime supply lines, including in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait area.

A record 236 boats and small vessels were also destroyed or damaged during the month.
Ukrainian forces continue targeting Russian logistics to disrupt the delivery of personnel, fuel, and ammunition to the front.
Countering Russian drones also remains a key priority, both along the front line and over Ukrainian cities. In July, Ukrainian forces shot down a record 54,870 enemy quadcopters and fixed-wing drones.
The ministry said Ukraine's effectiveness against Shahed drones continues to improve thanks to the work of air defense units, including interceptor drones, army aviation, and mobile fire groups.
The military also continues expanding the use of robotic systems on the battlefield. In July, Ukrainian forces carried out nearly 20,000 logistics and evacuation missions using ground robotic platforms.
According to the ministry, expanding the use of robotic systems is essential to protecting the lives of Ukrainian service members.
The ministry also noted that Ukrainian troops receive ePoints for each verified strike on enemy targets and for every completed robotic mission. These points can be exchanged for military equipment such as drones, ground robotic systems, and electronic warfare equipment through the Brave1 Market defense technology marketplace. During the first year of the platform's operation, units of the Defense Forces ordered $1 billion worth of military equipment using ePoints.
