MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Russia plans to create additional conditions for attracting funding to innovative development projects. A corresponding directive has been issued by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin following a strategic session on improving the management system for scientific and technological development, the cabinet’s press service reported.
"Plans are in place to create additional conditions for attracting funding to the area of innovative development. Accordingly, the plan of measures required to achieve the national goal, which entails increasing research and development spending to at least 2% of GDP by 2030, including by at least doubling private sector investment, will be further refined," the report said.
In addition, work will continue on developing the unified state information system for tracking civil-purpose research, development, and technological activities.
