The Starmie doll in Pokémon Pokopia is a new plush that comes with the Bubbly Basin DLC. Like other dolls in the game, this one can also take you to one of the Drifloon's Dream Islands.

Frillish will ask you to help explore a cave and find this doll northwest of where Popplio is waiting to complete the "Build the beautiful building!" request. You need to complete Frillish's request for it to help you with Popplio's.

Where to find the Starmie doll in Pokémon Pokopia

The Starmie doll is on the lowest level of the same cave where you meet Frillish. You won't find it as a Poké Ball, though. Instead, it appears as a regular sack after you destroy the blocks that are hiding it. If you just want a tip on how to find the Starmie doll, pay attention to what Frillish says. Although the game suggests that you should use the dowsing machine, it can guide you to an unbreakable wall if you use it in the wrong place.

The first step after you complete the initial part of their request, where it tells you about the doll, is to go deeper into the cave. Jump into the opening a little north of where Frillish tells you about the doll. Follow the path and break through the net to keep moving forward.

Drop to the lower level, where you will find some tracks. Follow them and look for a wall of star-spotted rocks in front of where the tracks turn right. If you get closer to this wall, Frillish will climb it and say, "I bet there's something below us here!" This is your clue to smash the blocks and grab the sack that will appear floating among the star-spotted rocks.

Frillish will ask to see the doll, but then it will give it back to you. From this point on, you can place the doll wherever you want to use it to call Drifloon.

It's possible that Frillish may stop you earlier if you're using the dowsing machine, pointing out other walls to break that reveal a not-Starmie doll. If you break the exact one we show above, you'll find the Starmie doll.
