While Apple TV has found success at the box office, Apple usually reserves theaters for its movies, not its series. However, one hit show from Apple this year is coming to the cinema for one night only in select venues across the country: Widow’s Bay.

Apple TV is bringing ‘Widow’s Bay’ to AMC Theaters for special screenings

Deadline exclusively reports that Widow’s Bay is going to the movies this month. From the report:

“We’re thrilled to partner with Rutgers University to bring

Widow’s Bayto fans and give them a chance to experience the final episodes of the season in a shared setting,” said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV. “Katie Dippold has created a uniquely entertaining world filled with unforgettable characters, sharp humor and surprising turns, and we’re excited for audiences to come together to celebrate the series and the incredible response it has received.”
