According to Ukrinform, the SSU's Cherkasy Regional Office stated this on Facebook.

The unemployed local woman denied Russia's armed aggression in Telegram channels, portraying it as an "internal civil conflict" in Ukraine.

She also justified the temporary occupation of Crimea and parts of eastern Ukraine and called on Russia to seize the entire country. To spread pro-Russian propaganda, she actively used Telegram channels.

In her comments and posts, the suspect attempted to discredit Ukrainian defenders by accusing them of alleged "war crimes."

A forensic linguistic examination ordered by the SSU confirmed that her activities served Moscow's interests.

SSU investigators have charged the woman under Parts 1 and 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as lawful, or denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, and glorification of its participants).

The suspect is currently in custody. She faces up to eight years in prison and confiscation of property.

The investigation was conducted by the SSU in the Cherkasy region under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.

As Ukrinform reported, the SSU detained a businesswoman who called on Russians to strike the Government Quarter in Kyiv.
