While August is already looking stacked with exciting new LEGO releases, a selection of older sets have been receiving some big discounts lately. The delightful LEGO Icons Natural History Museum set is one of the latter, with Amazon dropping it down to $299.99 from its original list price of $349.99.

This marks a 90-day low for the set, according to its store page, but it's also just a few cents away from its lowest ever price point at the retailer (which was $299.95). That's a fantastic discount, and on top of that, it's even temporarily out of stock on LEGO's own website right now, so if you want it before LEGO restocks, Amazon is the perfect place to pick it up.

Save $50 on the LEGO Icons Natural History Museum Set

This build falls into the category of LEGO sets for adults, probably because of its high number of pieces - 4,014 in total! - and more detailed assembly. It certainly looks like a fun set to put together, though. All of those bricks assemble to create a detailed Natural History Museum, including a Jurassic gallery, space exhibit, and a very cool brachiosaurus skeleton that towers over both the museum's levels.

There's also a rooftop section where the curator’s office is, which features two skylights to let light shine into the display.

To really help bring this museum display to life, it also comes with seven minifigures you can place throughout it. From the curator to guests touring around, they each look like they have a fun personality to add into this awesome setup.

Given it's currently out of stock at the LEGO Store, this is a great opportunity to grab this set at an even lower price than usual. And while it may not have a 'limited time deal' sticker on its store page at Amazon, it also may not be live for long, so be quick to scoop it up on sale while you can.
