BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat) and recent tropical cyclones triggered landslides, flooding, and tree falls, causing damage to houses across this city and forcing dozens of families to evacuate, according to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO). In a Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis report on Friday, Aug. 7, the CDRRMO said that as of 5 p.m., 51 families or 236 individuals had been displaced by the weather disturbance.
