According to a Ukrinform correspondent, the president made this announcement during a conversation with media representatives in Belgrade.

“Who has anti-ballistic missiles and the system? The manufacturer. That is the United States of America, first and foremost. Can they help? We’re working on it. Will they provide us with missiles every month? Yes. We have agreements in place. Are these missiles enough? No,” Zelensky said.

He added that the number of interceptor missiles Ukraine will receive in 2026 has decreased compared to 2025.

“I’m not talking about a specific number; I can’t give one to the Russians, and I can’t [mention it] in relation to our partners. There will be fewer of these missiles in 2026. In 2025, there were more,” the president noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Kyiv in June, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine had received significantly fewer PAC-3 missiles, capable of intercepting ballistic missiles, than its partners had promised, due to the war in the Middle East.
