CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Thirteen barangays in five municipalities in Oriental Mindoro were reported flooded on Saturday afternoon as persistent rains from the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” continued to batter the province. The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) reported the flooding situation as of 4 p.m., with floodwaters reaching up to 3 feet in some areas.
