President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with the United News, according to Ukrinform.

According to Zelensky, North Korean troops periodically arrive in Russia. While initially there were hundreds and later thousands of personnel, a decision has now reportedly been made to deploy 30,000 to 50,000 North Koreans in Russia.

"They are studying this war. If we are talking about crises and escalation in another region – in the Pacific – which could pose a threat to other Asian countries, then North Korea will certainly gain experience in modern warfare under Russia," the president said.

He recalled that Ukraine's Defence Forces had already found North Korean missiles on Ukrainian territory, which he described as an established fact. It is also clear, Zelensky said, that North Korea will continue to expand its experience in modern warfare and receive licenses and military technologies from Russia.

Therefore, Zelensky believes that the Republic of Korea should cooperate more closely with Ukraine.

"We are open to this. We would very much like to receive support from South Korea in an area where we have a shortage. That is air defense systems. And we are ready to work on the Drone Deal and other areas as well. They have a legal restriction under their Constitution. But we would like to have this cooperation and are counting on it. Our diplomats are in contact," Zelensky emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, Russia and North Korea are completing the construction of a bridge intended for covert military supplies, according to media reports.
