According to Ukrinform, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Hydrometeorology reported this on Facebook.

It is noted that on August 6, a temperature of +37.5° was recorded in Shepetivka, while the previous high was +32.8° in 1963.

In Yampil, thermometers registered +37.9°, which is 4.1° higher than the record set in 2012.

In Khmelnytskyi, the temperature was +35.7°, while the previous record of +34° was set in 2012.

In Nova Ushytsia, the temperature rose to +36.6°. Before this, the record of +35.3° was set in 2012.

Kamianets-Podilskyi recorded the highest temperature at +38.4°C, surpassing the previous record of +35.5°C set in 2012.

As reported by Ukrinform, on August 5, the Zhytomyr region recorded temperatures that broke records last seen in 1963.
