The alleged victim of rape and assault at the hands of a British YouTube star has had her version of events questioned on day two of a Perth District Court trial.
Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is accused of biting, slapping, strangling and raping a 20-year-old fan after a gig at Hillarys nightclub, Bar1, in September 2024.

The 30-year-old denies the allegations and claims the pair engaged in consensual sex in a room at the Intercontinental Hotel on Hay Street where he was staying.
On Tuesday, the complainant was cross-examined by Barrientos’ lawyer David Edwardson who accused the woman of being a liar.
He also accused her of “chasing” Barrientos to go back to his hotel, knowing that she was going there for sex, which she denied.
During the cross-examination, the woman admitted that she worked as a ‘promoter’ for Bar1 which involved sharing photos and videos of events at the club with her Instagram followers.
She admitted she was hoping to meet the star in person at the event and had requested multiple times to enter the VIP area, which she did just before 2.30am after Barrientos’ performance.
Edwardson told the woman she gave evidence on Monday that Barrientos had put his hands down her pants and that she pulled them out and told him, “I’m not like that” before he groped her breast and she told him “no”.
She also claimed she told him, “you can’t do that”.
“That’s not what happened at all, is it?” Edwardson asked the woman during cross-examination.
“Yes, it is,” the woman responded while crying.

In a video played to the jury, the woman can be seen recording herself inside the VIP area saying “he touched me, not in a bad way, in a good way”.
Edwardson suggested to the woman that Barrientos did not touch her “in an inappropriate way” before telling her that in the video she went on to say, “I love Filly” and that he was her future husband.
In another video played to the jury, the woman said, “I’m going to marry him”.
“At that time, he was my idol and at the time I was naive,” the woman responded.
The woman was also accused of writing a diary entry where she referred to herself as Victoria Beckham and Barrientos as David Beckham in reference to their marriage.
“He was your favourite celebrity,” Edwardson asked her, meaning Barrientos.
“Yes,” she replied.
“You saw yourself as potentially a Victoria Beckham,” he said.
“Yeh,” she replied.
The jury were then shown CCTV footage of the woman leaving Bar1 and putting her thumbs up and down communicating towards Barrientos who was already in a car outside the venue waiting to leave.
She was then seen in the lobby of the hotel walking some distance behind Barrientos who could be heard talking about what time he had to leave the next day.
The woman repeatedly claimed she thought she was going to an after party but agreed she did not clarify what the plan was when got into the singer’s car with his security guard and another three or four men.
“I was intimidated,” she said.
“I was with seven guys I didn’t know. I didn’t want to interrupt or be rude or say something wrong.”
The woman claims she and Barrientos started having consensual sex in his hotel room, before he turned violent, biting, strangling and slapping her.
Asked about those accusations, Edwardson suggested the woman was lying.
“I am suggesting to you that that is a pack of lies and did not happen,” he said. “If that happened you would have been very distressed.”
“I was,” the woman tearfully replied.
“And in pain,” he said.
“I was,” she responded. “I put on a persona to be as calm as I could, so I wouldn’t get abused or raped again.”
Edwardson then asked the woman about a food order Barrientos made from the hotel room after the alleged assault. The woman previously gave evidence that she had asked for “chip to go” but that Barrientos only ended up ordering food for himself.
“So after being slapped, having your breathing impeded, having been anally penetrated, and having been bitten on multiple occasions, you asked Yung Filly for chips to go?” he said.
“Yes, I did,” she replied.
“You seriously asked for chips to go?” Edwardson responded.
“Yes, I stupidly asked that, yes,” the woman replied.
Another video played to the jury shows the woman smiling in the hotel room just before she leaves to go home.
“I wanted to seem calm,” she said. “I had my high-pitched voice on. I didn’t want to make any scenario more worse than it could have been.”
Edwardson then reminded her of evidence she gave about allegedly overhearing Barrientos tell his security guard that the sex was not good.
“I suggest to you that no conversation ever occurred,” he said.
“I disagree with you,” the woman responded.
“It is another lie you have told in the course of this trial,” he said.
“I have not lied one sentence in the course of this trial,” the woman replied.
