Prime Minister Narendra Modi met members of India’s Commonwealth Games contingent on August 9 and congratulated the medallists for their performances in Glasgow. India finished the Games with 39 medals, including 13 gold. Modi praised the athletes for making the country proud, while India’s boxers returned with a record 10 medals.
