SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Olongapo City received 85 percent of its anticipated rainfall volume for the whole month of August in just six days, data from the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office showed on Monday (Aug. 10). A total of 741 millimeters of rainfall was recorded at the Kalaklan Rainfall Monitoring Station from August 5 to 10. The heavy rains came as the southwest monsoon continued to pummel the city.
