Broadcast journalist Kara David and vlogger-actress Ivana Alawi were among the personalities recognized at the inaugural Famas Broadcast Arts Awards held at the Manila Hotel on July 20. David won Best Documentary for her I-Witness documentary, “Embalsamador de Motor.” She also bagged the Best Public Affairs Talk Show for “I-Listen.” The award-winning journalist also shared the Best Host for Public Service award with Alawi.
