Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed energy assistance and the involvement of Czech businesses in Ukraine's recovery with his Czech counterpart Petr Macinka.
The Ukrainian diplomat said this on social media platform X, according to Ukrinform.
In particular, Sybiha thanked Czechia for its comprehensive support for Ukraine and informed his counterpart about Russia's intensifying ballistic terror against civilians and its deliberate destruction of critical civilian infrastructure.
"And we are already working to strengthen Ukraine's resilience ahead of the next winter season. In this context, we discussed further assistance to Ukraine's energy sector and the involvement of Czech businesses in our recovery and reconstruction efforts," he said.
Both sides also discussed strengthening the mutually beneficial Ukrainian-Czech defense partnership. Sybiha stressed that the two countries are committed to further deepening their strategic partnership for the benefit of both nations and the security of Europe.
On July 20, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis announced that the country would increase support for companies doing business with or in Ukraine.
