Bella Ramsey shares future directing plans with one condition
Bella Ramsey has revealed their desire to direct their own film in the future - under one condition.
The actor, 22, stars in George Jaques’ new comedy, Sunny Dancer. It follows 17-year-old Ivy (Ramsey) who has recently recovered from cancer and grudgingly heads off to a summer camp for fellow young survivors. She’s initially resistant, but eventually finds an unexpected group of friends in an unforgettable summer.
The Last of Us star, 22, previously told a Berlinale press conference that Jaques gave them a “blueprint” to be able to direct in the future.
Ramsey explained to The Independent that they would relish the opportunity to direct a film starring young people - remembering their breakout role as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones - but they wouldn’t direct something they hadn’t written.
Sunny Dancer will be in cinemas from 14 August.
