BINI, SB19 travel destination microsites unveiled by DOT
The Department of Tourism (DOT) launched dedicated microsites for its tourism ambassadors BINI and SB19, which will feature the members’ dream destinations as well as special discounted travel packages for these locations.
The microsites, scheduled to be unveiled on Wednesday, Aug. 12, have interactive features that allow fans to engage with the P-pop group members.
For BLOOMS, the fandom of BINI, they may submit through the microsite “#BloomTrails” which include photos and captions of their favorite destinations or of the girls’ dream destinations.

Meanwhile, SB19 fans, dubbed as A’TINs, may share dedication messages along with their favorite song from the quintet.
“Pinoy talents like BINI and SB19 are very much able to influence audiences, drive travel, and generate real economic activity wherever they go,” said Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay.
“This kind of influence is particularly valuable for us in tourism, where a person’s interest contributes to the local economy. A fan who travels to see an artist may also stay in a hotel, eat at local restaurants, explore nearby attractions or discover a destination for the first time. Each trip creates an opportunity for tourism spending to reach the businesses and communities that make those experiences possible,” she added.
The launch of the microsites is part of the agency’s Discover More To Love domestic tourism campaign, which aims to stimulate domestic travel by making tourism more accessible to Filipinos through discounted fares, hotel rates, and attraction fees. It also supports airlines, hotels, tour operators, attractions, and other tourism stakeholders amid the impact of elevated international fuel costs.
Following a series of international appearances, BINI and SB19 are also set to perform at the Japan-based music festival Summer Sonic this August.
