There are three Irish medals hopefuls in tonight's finals at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris.
John Shortt (19) will be in the men's 200-metres backstroke final at 5:40pm Irish time.
Mona McSharry came through second-fastest in qualifying for the women's 100-metres breaststroke final, which is underway just before 6pm.
After this, reigning Olympic champion Daniel Wiffen will be in the men's 800-metres freestyle final just after 7pm.
So far this morning, Ellen Walshe has come second in her women's 400-metres individual medley heat.
Jack Kelly has come third in his heat in the men's 200-metres breaststroke European Aquatics Championships in Paris. He progresses to tonight's semi-finals, along with Eoin Corby.
A fourth-placed finish for Danielle Hill was enough to go through to the women's 50-metres backstroke semi-finals. However, Lottie Cullen will not progress, after finishing eighth.
Victoria Catterson, Grace Davison and Danielle Farrell missed out on semi-final spots in the women's 200-metres freestyle.
Matthew Hamilton and Jacob Armon were also unsuccessful in the men's 100-metres butterfly heats.
