Television actor Karanvir Bohra has chosen not to comment on ongoing speculation surrounding his marriage with wife Teejay Sidhu. Addressing the rumours for the first time, the actor said he would rather keep his personal life private and hoped his decision would be respected.

Rumours about the couple's relationship have been circulating on social media for some time. When asked about them, Bohra refrained from commenting.

"I would not like to talk about this right now. When I don't want to discuss something, I respectfully say so, and I hope people respect that," the 43-year-old told ETimes.

Speaking about how he deals with online speculation, Bohra said he has learnt not to be affected by public opinion. "I don't let anything bother me. Even when netizens say something nasty, I don't get hurt," he said.

Bohra and Canadian-born actor, model and VJ Teejay Sidhu have been married for nearly two decades. The couple have three daughters – twin girls born in 2016 and their youngest, born in December 2020.

Although he chose not to elaborate on his personal life, Bohra spoke candidly about his professional journey and his decision to diversify beyond acting. Reflecting on his television career, Bohra said he remains grateful for the work he has done, but admitted there were two projects he wishes he had not missed.

"I was offered Naagin and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (the roles eventually played by Arjun Bijlani and Karan Patel, respectively), but I was shooting a film at the time. I genuinely wish I had been a part of those shows," he said.

The actor, who has also appeared on reality shows including Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi, Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Lock Upp, said those experiences helped audiences see him beyond his on-screen characters.
