According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 18:00 on Sunday, August 16, Russian forces launched 128 attack drones, including Shahed-type drones (including jet-powered variants), as well as Gerberas and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk.

The aerial attack was repelled by Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary information, as of 08:30 on Monday, August 17, Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 106 drones over northern, southern and eastern Ukraine.

Hits were recorded at 14 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at two locations.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace.
