PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – The Naval Command Western Mindanao (NCWM) has seized about P194 million worth of suspected smuggled cigarettes off the waters of Sulu province in less than a month. A vessel loaded with undocumented foreign-brand cigarettes worth P170,140,322 was apprehended in the waters off Buton Mahablo in Parang, Sulu on Friday, Aug. 14. The NCWM said that personnel of Naval Task Force 61 discovered the contraband during a maritime interdiction.
