SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — Government offices in Ilocos Sur will implement alternative work arrangements on Tuesday, Aug. 18, due to continuous heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon, the provincial government said. The measure is pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, series of 2026, issued by the Office of the President, which directs government offices in affected areas to adopt appropriate alternative work arrangements amid adverse weather conditions.
