Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Chairman A. Ravi Naidu said that the NDA government in the State is keen on identifying talent and fostering manpower at all levels. He stressed that they would leave no stone unturned to hone the skills of students in their chosen disciplines.

Mr. Ravi Naidu made the remarks while participating as chief guest in the celebrations marking the transfer of ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ funds at a function in MPP High School in Muthyala Reddy Palle here on Thursday. The celebrations were organised by the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF), the students wing of TDP, under the leadership of Tirupati district president K. Hemanth Royal

The SAAP chairman then urged the school children to offer roses as a form of gratitude to a banner displaying the images of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and the HRD Minister Nara Lokesh. The students were also asked to hold huge placards and read out messages of thanks.

“Thalliki Vandanam is not just a transfer of funds, but a means of instilling self-confidence among parents and encouraging them to send their wards to schools without the burden of financial constraints. Poverty should not be a stumbling block in a student’s career,” he said.
