The Office of the Vice President has yet to issue a statement on the trip.
Duterte’s latest foreign trip comes just weeks after she returned from a two-week trip from July 16 to 31. Her recent itinerary included Qatar, Germany, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland and the Netherlands.
Her frequent trips abroad came amid her ongoing impeachment trial in the Senate, where she faces allegations of misuse of public funds, unexplained wealth, corruption, and making public threats against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and former Speaker Martin Romualdez. /mcm
