As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post.

“On August 17 and overnight into August 18, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of enemy military targets,” the statement said.

In particular, Ukrainian forces struck five Russian UAV control centers in the areas of Ustinka and Zhuravlyovka in the Belgorod region, and Novoivanivka, Nove and Mali Shcherbaki in the Zaporizhzhia region.

They also struck a Russian command post near Terny and an ammunition depot in Karlivka, Donetsk region.

Operations against key military targets of Russian forces are ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine destroyed three Russian naval drones on August 17.
