We are buying 25 shares of Boeing at roughly $225. Following the trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will own 585 shares of BA, increasing its weighting in the portfolio to 3.3% from 3.15%. We're picking up more shares of Boeing after its recent dip. Shares of the planemaker have pulled back from about $240 earlier this month, trading inversely to the Iran war-fueled rise in oil prices and interest rates. We think this recent decline is an opportunity to gain more exposure to CEO Kelly Ortberg's turnaround. The company's second quarter reported in late July showed positive signs of progress, with better than expected free cash flow and steps made to increase 737 Max production toward its next goal of 52 a month. The more jets Boeing makes, the more it can deliver to customers, resulting in stronger free cash flow generation. Boeing also checked off an important milestone two weeks ago when the Federal Aviation Administration certified the 737 Max 7 after a long series of delays. We expect the FAA to certify the Max 10 at some point this year. The Max 7 is the smallest model in Boeing's best-selling aircraft family, while the Max 10 is the largest. Finally, we were in favor of Boeing's decision last week to sell three noncore subsidiaries to Archer Aviation in exchange for a stake in the electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft company. By selling these businesses, Boeing can keep more of its focus on improving quality and gradually ramping up monthly production of its Max jets. (Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust is long BA.
