According to Ukrinform, this information was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“According to the investigation, on July 23, 2026, the Russian army continued its systematic shelling of the Kherson region. It used aircraft, artillery, mortars, and various types of drones,” the statement reads.

As noted, as of 5:30 p.m., 16 people were reported to have been affected by the Russian aggression.

In particular, at around 10:30 a.m., the enemy carried out airstrikes on Kherson. The Korabelny and Central districts of the city were hit—a total of seven civilians were injured. There were also casualties resulting from the occupiers’ use of UAVs—seven in the regional capital and two in Molodizhne.

In Kherson, enemy attacks caused destruction and damage to approximately 35 civilian facilities, including private homes and apartment buildings, a children’s hospital, educational institutions, an administrative building, a hotel, a shopping center, and vehicles.

Kherson, seven injured

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes.
