Israeli forces have arrested at least 23 Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank, according to Wafa news agency and local officials, as the military expands its campaign across the territory.

Troops detained eight people in ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, and erected military checkpoints across the governorate after searching homes.

Soldiers also arrested six Palestinians in Azzun, near Qalqilya; four in Nablus, including two brothers; two in Deir al-Ghasoun, north of Tulkarem; and two in Bethlehem, including a journalist.

In Qalandiya refugee camp, between Jerusalem and Ramallah, forces detained another Palestinian whose identity remains unknown.

During a raid on Ras al-Ain in Nablus, soldiers beat a 28-year-old man so severely that he required hospital treatment.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers, backed by the army, have kept residents of Qusra under siege for 11 days. Settlers have surrounded three Palestinian family homes and blocked their water supply, leaving those inside facing food shortages.
