The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) on Thursday allotted 41 returnable plots to 23 farmers from Undavalli who had parted with their lands for construction of the Seed Access Road in Amaravati.

The plots, allotted through an online e-lottery system, comprised 26 residential and 15 commercial plots. The allotment process was conducted at the APCRDA office at Rayapudi in the presence of the participating farmers.

As part of the process, APCRDA officials first conducted a trial run of the online randomisation system for allotting residential and commercial plots. Following its successful completion, the live e-lottery was conducted to finalise the allotments.

APCRDA Additional Commissioner Kollabattula Karthik handed over provisional allotment certificates to the farmers who were selected through the e-lottery.

Mr. Karthik advised the beneficiaries to complete the registration process for their allotted plots at the earliest. He said GIS personnel and village surveyors would assist the farmers in identifying the exact geographical location of their respective plots.

The allotment is part of the process of providing returnable plots to farmers who parted with their land for the development of the Amaravati capital region.

Director (Lands) K.S. Bhagya Rekha, Director (Planning) B. Suresh Kumar, Additional Director (IT) V. Kushwanth and Special Deputy Collector A.G. Chinni Krishna were among the officials who participated in the programme.
