LIST of cancelled ferry trips due to Kiyapo

MANILA, Philippines — Ferry operations in parts of Bohol, Masbate, Eastern Leyte and Samar were cancelled on Friday, July 24 as Tropical Storm Kiyapo continued to bring rough sea conditionss, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said.

  • TMO Jagna: Super Shuttle Ferry 28, Jagna to Balbagon
  • TMO Getfe: Sunriser 2, Getafe to Cordova

Masbate

  • Montenegro Shipping Lines, Inc.: All fast crafts vessels for the Masbate Port bound to Pilar, Sorsogon

Eastern Leyte and Samar

  • TMO San Ricardo: MV SanRic Ferry 20 (via Benet San Ricardo to Lipata)

In it’s 11 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also placed Abra, Kalinga, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, La Union, Benguet, Occidental Mindoro, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros Occidental and Palawan under a yellow rainfall warning, with 50 to 100 millimeters of rain expected on Friday due to Kiyapo.

Earlier, the Coast Guard District Palawan suspended the trips of all vessels and motorboats in the municipalities of Rizal, Quezon and Balabac until further notice because of the storm. /dp
